The Georgia boys continue to dominate the national performance lists. In the past week, both Kristen Smith (Sprayberry, Marietta, GA) and Lauren Chambers (Kell, Marietta, GA) improved on their bests. Jessica Irizarry (Harrison, Kennesaw, GA) also improved to move into sixth position behind five of her fellow Throw1Deep teammates. Two youngs throwers also moved up on the list. Eight graders Melissa Kurzdorfer (Lancaster Middle School, NY) and Patrice Gates (Villa Rica Middle School, GA) both improved to move into tenth and eleventh, respectively.
The Georgia boys also had a good weekend. National freshman class record holder Wes Wright (Villa Rica, GA) broke 70 feet for the first time and teammate David Schiedt (Lassiter, Marietta, GA) also improved by over a foot.
