Senior Eric Flores (Custer, SD), pictgured to the right, made his
season debut last week and threw a personal best of 69'05.50" to move
into fifth on the national performance list. In Georgia, Sophomore Wes
Wright (Villa Rica, GA) threw a two foot best at the Georgia Open to
improve his season best to 72'07.25". However, David Schiedt (Lassiter,
Marietta, GA) won the competition by equaling his personal best. Walter
Henning was also near his personal best again over the weekend.
There
were also several improvements among the top women. Sarah Cardinal
(Blackfoot, ID) improved slightly. Jenni Mack (Custer, SD) made her
season debut at nearly fifty feet. Sophomore Allison Horner (Lovett,
Marietta, GA) also imporved nearly a foot. In Arizona, seventh grader
Katie Kraychir (Twentynine Palms, CA) threw a two foot personal best at
the Mountain T's Invitational into the top ten.
