Alec Faldermeyer (Minisink Valley, Slate Hill, NY) took the national lead after his impressive season debut of 82'10.50" last weekend at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational.  Davis Fraker (McIntosh, Peachtree City, GA) also made his debut at that meet and quickly moved up to second on the national performance list.

Shelby Ashe (St. Pius X, Atlanta, GA) improved for the season week and not sits atop the national performance list with a best of 60'05.75".  Katie Kraychir (Twentynine Palms, CA) also joined the 60-foot club over the weekend with a new best of 60'01.50".  That makes her the third thrower to break 60 feet this season.  Ashe and Kraychir are the sixth and seventh high school throwers to ever break 60-feet in the weight.  Both throwers are also just inches from breaking Maureen Griffin's (Pocatello, ID) 13-year old national junior class record.

NOTE: There are 160 boys and 156 girls who have hit the standards for the 25# and 20# of 45’ and 30’ respectively. For the remainder of the season, the weekly performance lists will only include the top 100 athletes for each gender, plus anyone tied at the 100th spot.  All marks over the standard will be included in the final list of the season.
