Conference champions were crowed across the country last weekend, but the most impressive mark was not at one of those meets. Dorotea Habazin (Virginia Tech) competed at the ACC Championships last month and went to the Georgia Tech Invitational over the weekend where she threw a new nation leading mark of 66.74m. Sophomore Amanda Bingson (UNLV) also had a HUGE personal best to win the Mountain West Conference title and move up to fourth on the national list.
On the men's side, Walter Henning (LSU) once again had the top mark of the weekend. Conor McCullough (Princeton) improved his U.S. junior record and broke 70-meters for the second time in two weeks. Alexander Ziegler (Virgnia Tech) also started to return to form after an ankle injured slowed him at the start of the outdoor season.
