In just the second week of the outdoor season, several throwers have already opened up their season.  Dimitrios Fylladitakis (UTEP) is coming off a great indoor season where he placed ninth at the NCAA Championships.  In his first meet he added nearly a foot to his personal best in the hammer throw and now leads the nation at 68.82m  Adonson Shallow (Southeastern Louisiana) broke 67 meters for the first time to set his second personal best in two weeks.

On the women's side, Nikola Lomnicka (Georgia) threw a personal best after coming close to one last weekend.  Her toss of 64.31m now leads the nation on the women's side.  Sasha Leeth also threw a personal best of 62.99m and now has the second best mark in the country.
